ACEO miniatures

Recently I have been developing a love for painting aceo miniatures.
I like the fact that they are so tiny. It forces me to really focus on one subject, and it teaches me another way of filling in a space with shape and color.
What I also like about it, is that to me, they look like little windows into a imaginative and cute world. It is fun to create these little windows.
At the moment I use watercolors, but I plan to use oils as well.

My new online shop!

I just finished my new online shop on Etsy.com and have started filling it with my arts and crafts. I also came up with some new craft idea`s (the butterfly and dragonfly pendants). I really so much enjoy making them, and soon they will also be in there.

I just love your paintings! They have a lovely earthy feel to them, despite being colorful. I tried to do a tree similar to yours once (meaning, folksy and cartoony in an Earth Mother sort of way) and I wasn't very successful. Maybe I can just buy prints of yours instead of making my own
